noviledging; receipt of the petit io n - presented to the Council r e lat ive
to' the gas rates. 'The matter was referred to the City ,Attorney.

Councilman 1160argar. spo -ke in reference to the Conway Quarry
lease wh ich expi o th 24th d6,7 of January. On mot made
and seconded the Mayor was gi full power to renew the lease for
a period of five years under the same terms.
Mayor Horwege reported that the citizens who objected to' the
sewer on I street had made ,arrangements to build, a sewer in the rear
of the houses and conneet.with the fewer on .Eighth Street,, and
suggested the -grade louvered on I Street. No action, taken..
