Council Chambers, Feb. 8th; 1915.
A regular adjourned meeting of the City Council was held this
8th day of 'February, .1,:)15 at 7 :30 o'clock 'P.iui• Mayor_ Horwege in
the chair.

Absent: Councilman IvIcCargar.
The c'ommunicrti-.}n from the Builder's Exchange presented at the
previous meeting was taken up for discussion. A Committee of three
representing that body,Viz., Messrs. Vogensen, McNulty and 'Harris
were present. The matter alas discussed at .length and it was fin-
decided
ally that a committee of three be appointed to confer with the
Buil,der's Exchange Committee, and the I:Iayor appointed Councilmen
Early, Healey and Torr to report back at the next regular meeting.
A communication p- resented. at the previous meeting; from the
64410er of Commerce Committee was taker up for discussion.. After a
lengthy discussion the following resolution was presented.:

Introduced: by Early, seconded by Gassage
Be it resolved that the City Council app ',;:1 per month
to the Chamber of Commerce beginning March ls.t, 1915, for the purpose
of advertising Petaluma and that bills showing , expenditure be
first file& each month with the Clerk before payment is made. Suuh
payments not to extend beyond ten months from March lst,, 1915. .
VOTE'.. Ayes. Councilmen Gossage, Early, and Hoxwege.
Noes: Councilmen Torr, Stradling and Healey.
Absent: Councilman ',McCarga -r.
The above resolution not having received the nec- essary four

votes the P:aayor d. the .game lost.
On motion the Council adjourned.
