City Clerk presented affidavit of publication and also affidavit
of posting of Resolution No. 904 for the improvement of Kent Street.
City Attorney.p. °esented correspondencd from the State Liability
Insarance officials:. The matter was discussed and. it was decided to have
the City Attorney invite the representative of that body to appear before
the Coluicil at a latex date fo diconference.
City Attorney reported that there, was an error in the description
of the deed which conveyed the Kenilworth Pard to the City. The matter
was re to the City c,ttoxney,ivho will have all the documents neces-
sary for the, correction, at the next meeting of the Coc,ncil. ^
Superintendent of Streets reported that the old bridge o Bri
Street - vvas in need or repair. The matter was referred to the Street
,.Connlittee with the power to Tact.
City Engineer Hubbard stated that he had done nothingin the matter
of the 'plans and estimates of Erwin Street ./. Iee that it was six -.
ty feetjwide at one end-and thirty -nine feet wide at the oilier end. The
Engineer was requested to Opt present speci.ficatiorns at the 'present time.

The matter was referred to the : Street Committee to interview the proper-
ty owners to get the street a uniform wi:clth.
The muter o -f the correction of the Block Book was, bribught up.-
by Mr.. Hopkins and Attorney fall. On motion duly made and seconded, the.
City Engineer was authorized - to. bring the Black Book do „ �n to dat at a cost
not t -o exceed the sum of' $75.00.

Chairman Stradling stated that Kenilworth had been inspected
acid reported the condition there as usual. The doors and windows
of the pavilkon being securely closed. The committee on the
petition of the Builder's .Exchange askew and was granted farti time
in which t'o report.

A communication was received from a City 'Trustee of::,Sonota;;
asking the Council to pass.the resolution to be presented to the State
Legislature regarding the regulation dif the liquor traffic. Same
was laid on the'table.
Percy Fuller through his ;attorney F. Howell presented a claim
for the sum of $196..00 for damages to his automobile by running into
a ditch in the street caus same to be overturne

Frank Allen, President of Hos -e Co. No» 2, appeared with the
Committee and asked tlsat their claim for allowance would be recog-
nised. F. R. Meyer also appeared in behalf of the'Hook & Ladder Co.
and stated thaf his Company was willing to continue their service
but thought that the City should pay a rental for the use of their
truck and apparatus. Finally after a lengthy discussion the matter
was referred to the Five Commissioners to report recommendation. The
Council and representatives of the voltinteers to meet with the
Commi;si.one -rs upon arriving atsome conclusion.
