REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING
Council Chambers, May 24th, 1915.
A meeting of the City Council was held this 24th day of May, 1915
for the purpose of discussin- the improvement of:VV Street.
Mayor Horwege in the chair.

A Communication was received from Warren Bros. ,.•.stating that
the Warrenite pavement could not be used by Eaton & Smith here
unless the City and the Contractors first complied with the
formalities demanded by the said holders of the patents therefore.
The following communication was received:

To the Cit, Council o_r the Cite' of Petaluma,
Gentlemen : -
Owing to a refusal by the firm ofWarren'Bros. for
an agreement permitting us to comply with our contract to pave
Washington Street with their patented pavement, we respectfully
request th we be released from our contract.

WHERE Eaton & Smith the contractors for the improvement of
lasllington Street having requested to be released from said .contract
because of the .action of the lAvarren Bros. in refusing the use of
their patent method of Street building, be it therefore resolved

that said Eaton and Smith be and they `are hereby released from said
contract, and the Clerk is directedoto'return certified check heretofore
i
deposited with the City of Petaluma by said Eaton and Smith.

Directing the City Engineer to draw plans and specifications
for a six inch. sewer on "I" Street from Seventh to a point 75 feet east
of intersection of "H and "I" Street.
