GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT Vice Mayor Healy opened GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT. Katherine Bobrowski, Littlewoods Mobile Home Villas, Petaluma, spoke of problems at the mobile home park where she lives. Peter Tscherneff, Petaluma, spoke on a variety of political topics. Sandra, Petaluma, spoke about hateful robocalls she's received in opposition to candidates Teresa Barrett and D'Lynda Fischer. Seeing no other persons wishing to speak, Vice Mayor Healy closed GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT. REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION (ACTIONS TAKEN) City Attorney Danly reported that in accordance with California Government Code Section 54957.1, which is part of the Brown Act, that the City Council, in CLOSED SESSION, by a unanimous vote of all those present in favor (5-0), approved a contract with Assistant City Manager Scott Brodhun to serve as the City's Interim City Manager when City Manager Brown's announced retirement takes effect on November 29th. In brief summary, the contract will commence on November 30, 2018, and will provide Mr. Brodhun additional compensation for playing the Interim City Manager role so that his compensation will be $216,000 annually, with benefits to remain as they currently are for Mr. Brodhun as a member of Unit 8. Mr. Brodhun will also have his vacation cap increased to 600 hours. The agreement will expire upon the new City Manager undertaking the role or on termination by Council, at which point Mr. Brodhun's compensation will be returned to what it is right now, but the vacation accrual cap will remain unchanged. 1. Council Member Miller asked that on Item 1.A (Minutes of August 6, 2018), the roll call be corrected as some members are shown as both present and absent. City Clerk Cooper Vice Mayor Healy noted that on Item 1.D (Minutes of October 15, 2018), page 7, the speaker identified as "Pauline from the KOA Campground" should be amended to read "Pauline Wood."
