payable hereunder shall be prorated
for the period remaining from the
date of the permit to said first 'day
of January or July.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 269
N. C. S. be and the same is hereby
repenied, effective January 1, 1956.

ordinance was passed by the Council at its meeting of the 29th
