ORDINANCE NO. 417 N. C. S.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE''CITY OF PETALUMA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That 'Section 5 of Qrdi-
nance No. 140 N. C. S. 'be and the
same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 5. That all permits'granted
by the City Council under Ordinance
No. 140 N. C. S., authorizing connec-
tions into the City sewer syttein and
discharging sewage therein from
buildings or locations outside of the
City, shall :terminate and are hereby
cancelled and revoked as of the 1st
day of January; 1956. That such per-
inits cancelled and revoked as afore-
said may be reestablished; and new
permits may be gianted on. or after
said 1st day of January, 1956, upon
the payment of fee's according to the
schedule set forth under. Section 9
thereof. of said ordinance as amend-
ed by this ordinance.
Section 2. That Section 9 of Ordi-
nance No. 140 N. C. S. be and the
same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 9. The following schedule
of fees and charges and times of
payment thereof .is, hereby fixed and
required,for all permits granted here-
under for discharging sewage into
the City's sewer lines or. system. from
outside the boundaries of the City:
(a) A fee of ;$25.00 for filing an
application hereunder, vi icli shall
be refunded to the applicant if his
application be denied; provided, how-
ever, that no fee shall lie charged
to any person filing an application
under this , ordinance who '-held a per -

said dates of July 1 and January 1
the first fee payable hereunder shal
be prorated -for ^the period remaining
from the date of the permit to sait
first day'of January or July.
Section 3. That Ordinances No. 26!

the same are hereby repealed, of

Council at its meeting of the 5th day of December, 1955, by the following vote,
