APPROVING ALLOCATION OF NEW POSITIONS:
PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTOR LAND PUBLIC WORI{S INSPECTOR II
WHEREAS, staff recommends allocation of a new Public Works Inspector I and a
Public Works Inspector II position, to provide greater continuity and cost benefit to the CIP
project inspection process; and,
WHEREAS, by bringing CIP inspection services in-house, it is estimated that the current
cost of capital improvement project inspection will he reduced by half; and,
WHEREAS, funding for salaries and benefits has been identified in the Capital Project
PCDC budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council has determined that
allocation of one new Public Works Inspector I and one new Public Works Inspector lI position
will be cost effective and beneficial to the CIP inspection process, and hereby approves
allocation of said positions.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
