California a AU'FI-IORI7ING PROGRAM 6 ADMINISTRATION FEES FOR THE MOBILEHOME PARK SPACE RENT 7 STABII"CATION PROGRAM FOR 1998 8 9 10 WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1949 N.C.S.. the City of Petaluma adopted a I 1 Mobilehome Park Space Rent Stabilization Program; and 12 13 WFfEREAS, pursuant to said Ordinv~ce, the City Council is authorized to adopt a 14 mobilehome park space rent stabilization program administration fee by Resolution or l5 Ordinance: and 16 ] 7 WHEREAS, the City Corincil desires to set said administratOn fee herein; 18 19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. that on or before April 30, 1998, each 20 mobilehome park owner shall pay to the City Clerk of the City of Petaluma a 21 mobilehome park rent stabilization program administration fee in the sum of Thirty 22 Dollars ($30.00) per year for each mobilehome space as defined herein, including both 23 occupied and unoccupied mobilehome spaces. in the owners mobilehome park except 24 for those spaces subject to a rental agreement in Pull compliance with the requirements oC 25 Civil Code Sections 798.17(a) and (b). The City Clerk of the City of Petaluma shall 26 forward these funds to the Clerk to administer the mobilehome park rent stabilization 27 Ordinance. Further, the City Clerk of the City of Petaluma shall issue to each 28 mobilehome park owner a receipt for payment of the fees required to be paid herein. Any 29 person owing money to the City under the provisions of this Ordinance shall be liable to 30 an action brought in the name of the City for the recovery of such amount A service fee 31 equal to an action brought in the name of the City for the recovery of such amount A 32 service fee equal to 1-1/2 percent (1-1/2%) per month will be charged on all late 33 payments of registration fees under this Ordinance.
