That First 'Stree't from "C" Street to "D" Street s1rall be improved by'. the construction of concrete curbs and gutters, new paVement, and the installation of d.rai:nage facilities, That said work shall be done with the materials., along the courses,, and to the -grades sho on those certain plans and speci® 1 1,cdt,ib'ns entitled,,, "First Street Reconstruction, ICI Street to ID Street, City of Petaluma which said plans and specifications were prepared and approved by Russell Ra Ingram, City Engineer, and filed with the City Clerk on the. 21st day* of May., 1956' which said plans and specifications are hereby ap proved and adopted for the work required by this ordinance. Section 2. That pursuant to voluntary offers and contri- butions'made by 'the owners of property fronting. along said improve- meat work authorized by this ord.inanoe: the cost of a portion of said, work shall be charged against said. Drpperty owners and paid from said contrl..butions as follows,e 10` Pacific Gas and Electric Company shall pay the following 1 portions of Said worIA, estimated to cost (a Replace 322 lineal feet of curb and -gutter. (b) Remove driveway slab.,­460­sqivare feet. (c) Construct 6 inch dri 64 square feet. ay -1- 2o G. P. McNear Company' shall. pay the following.portions of said work, estimated to cost %04.150 (a) Replace ,301.5 lineal feet of curb and gutter. (b) Cons truct 6 inch driveway,, 72' square feet,. 3. -Petaluma &.,,Santa Rosa Railroad Company shall pay the following portions of said work, estimated to cast $336,. 00 0 (a.) 42 tons of,. plant mix. Section 36. The City of Petaluma shall pay for 7 the cost of the following portions of said work which shall be charged against and paid from the Storm Sevier Fund to wit 1, Installation of one manhole, 2.. installation of storm drain pipes consisting of approxi- 40 lineal feet of 12-inch pipe and 217 lineal feet of 24-,inch - pipe. Section 4. The, City of Pet shall 'Pay for the cost of the following work which shall be charged against and paid .from. the General litund to irvit 1.6 All roadway excavation and crusher run base required, for the - preparatory to resurfacing. 2. Removal of all existing curbs., gutters -and.other ob- structions 3. All ressurfacing excepting that for which the.Qo.st thereof is to be - paid by said property owners,,, as hereinbefore in Section 2-hereof provided. 4. All other work not heretofore provided for in this and the preceding Secti6ns 2 and 3 of this ordinance., section 5. That all of the materials,, equipment,, services and supplies required under this ordinance shall be furnished anq performed by contract awarded to the `lowest responsible bidder'after advertising in the form, manner and for the period by the City Charter* 5M 1.
