THE COUN- CII 'OF :THE `CITY OF PETALUMA, AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS,. on • the 13th day of April, 1964, the-.Council of the City _ of ,Petaluma did :pass ,and_ adopt _ Resolution No, 4001 N.C.S. . "giving no- itice of the,.proposal, to annex certain uninhabited territory to,the :City of Petaluma, said territory being there - in designated as "1964 Cader Annexa- " tion ", said Resolution describing the boundaries of the. territory proposed .to be annexed; and WHEREAS, "said 'Resolution No'. 4001 MC;Sn ,did contain a notice of the day, ,hour and place !when 'arid where the Council' of, the City would. hear protests made by arty ,persons owning real •property within the territory I proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing ,, -ei'ng` not, leis forty nor more than sixty days from` the date' of passage of. said Resolution; and WHEREAS; on the 1st day of June, 1964, it ;the:, hour -of', 7:30 o'clock' p:m.,, in. the Council 'Chanrlier's in the City Hall of 'the City of Petalu- ma, 'County of +Sonoma, 'State of California,. said time and, place be- ing the day, "hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. AQ01 N:C;& for hearing protests to the said arinexa- tion and did; determine that protests had not been ^made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privd ately owned territory proposed to be annexed, as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one -Half of the value of 'the' publicly owned Terri- tory proposed to be annexed as de- termined by said 'legislative body; and WHEREAS; said territory is con- tiguous to ,the City of: Petaluma, and is uninhabited, territory in the Coun- ty of Sonoma; NOW, '- THEREFORE, BE; IT OR DAINED that the said Council . of the City of Petaluma does hereby ap- prove .the annexation of the 'territory hereinafter" described to the : City :of Petaluma, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory the and pit is hereby annexed to the City of Petaluma: That said, territory, the annexation of which' to the City Of Petaluma is herein, approved, is -all that , territory situate In 'the : County of _S "n'oma State.
