AN' ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA' PROVIDING' FOR 'PRO- POSED CAPITAL OUTLAY PRO - GRAM TO BE COMPLETED, DURING THE FISCAL, YEAR . 1964-,196S, PRO; VIDING THAT THE PLANS' AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR EACH IN- DIVIDUAL PROJECT ARE TO BE APPROVED AND ORDERED COM- MENCED BY RESOLUTION AND NAMING THE FUND FROM WHICH EACK PARTICULAR PROJECT SHALL BE RAID;:,AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN- CIL OF THE, CITY OF PETALUMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City of Petalu- rna prbooses following named projects, as zipproved in the final budget, as .its Capital Outlay P , ro- gram for the fiscal year 1964-1965 and designates, as listed hei6iifter, the fund frorn which the cost of 'the various projects' will be paid: GENERAL FUND Dept. 100 Police 4 Vehicles $4,789.00 Dept. 102; Fire Safety Equipment $7,000 Fire Hydrants 3,000 10,000.00 Dept. 131. Public Works One-Half Ton Pick-up Truck 1.800.00 Dept. 140. Parks and Recreation 4-Wheel Jeep 2,500.00 Dept. 150. Parking Meter Motor Scooter $1,700 30 Parking Meters 1,800 Improvements on Keller Street Parking Add. 10,000 13,500.00 TOTAL $32,589.00 Section .2. That the Capital Outlay Program hereinabove outlined shall be - commenced after the plans and specifications have been filed with the City Clerk and apprm�ed by resolution of the City Council. Section 3. That the resolution ap- proving : individual Flans and speci- fications shall Airect;that the work shall be done in the manner re- q , ulred by law and the City Charter. and, further, may direct that the project may be commenced iinmedi- 'ately. Section 4. This Ordinance is here- by declared to be necessary for the immediate preservation of th- public peace, health, and safety and shall take effect and be in force upon its passage by unanimous vote die of the members of the City Council present at the time of its adoption. The reason for the urgency of this Ordinance is so that the work au- thorized hereby may be properly scheduled and spaced over this com- ing' year. Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. The City Clerk, be, and she is, hereby directed to publish this Ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter. Ordered published this 17th day of August, 1964.
