of the City of Petaluma, California
RECOMMENDING APPOINTMENT TO THE
MAYORS' & COUNCILMEMBERS' ASSOCIATION
TO FILL VACANCY ON
LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, vacancies have occurred on various Boards and Commissions due to term
expirations or elected members leaving office; and,
WHEREAS, the appointments will be considered by the City Selection Committee at the
Mayor's & Councilmembers' Association meeting on April 14, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, letters of interest have been received and considered by the Petaluma City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Petaluma City Council does hereby
recommend to the Mayors' & Councilmembers' Association the following for appointment:
® Local Agency Formation Commission (Alternate) (LAFCO):
Mark Landman, Cotati
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Petaluma City Council authorizes Mayor
David Glass to vote on late nominations received at the Mayors' & Councilmembers' meeting on
April 14, 2011.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
REFERENCE: I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the /Aov d as to
Council of the City of Petaluma at a Regular meeting on the 41h day of April, 2011, II/ p f m:

AYES: Albertson, Barrett, Mayor Glass, Harris, Kearney, Renee
NOES: None

CALIFORNIA COASTAL COMMISSION
WHEREAS, vacancies have occurred on various Boards and Commissions due to term
expirations or elected members leaving office; and,
WHEREAS, the appointments will be considered by the City Selection Committee at the
Mayor's & Councilmembers' Association meeting on April 14, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, letters of interest have been received and considered by the Petaluma City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Petaluma City Council does hereby
recommend to the Mayors' & Councilmembers' Association the following for appointment:
® California Coastal Commission
Sarah Glade Gurney, Sebastopol
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Petaluma City Council authorizes Mayor
David Glass to vote on late nominations received at the Mayors' & Councilmembers' meeting on
April 14, 2011.
