ORDINANCE NO. ,550 N. C. S.

AN ORDNANCE OF THE CITY OFIPETALUMA PROVIDING FORA, PRO-
POSED CAPITAL OUTLAY PROGRAM TO BE COMPLETED' DURING
THE FISCAL YEAR 1359 =60; PROVIDING THAT THE PLANS,;AND SPECI-
FICATIONS F.OR'EACH:INDIVIDUAL PROJECT ARE TO.BE APPROVED
AND: ORDERED COMMENCED BY RESOLUTION;. AND NAMING THE
FUND FROM WHICH EACH PARTICULAR PROJECT SHALL- BE PAID,
BE IT•ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY:OF PETALUMA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Petaluma proposes. the following named
projects, , as approved in the final budget, as its Capital Outlay Program

for the fiscal year 19.59 - -60 and. designates, as listed hereafter, the fund
from which the cost of the various projects will be paid:

Section 2. That the individual' projects hereinabove named shall be com.
menced after the plans and specifications, prepared by the City Engineer,
have been filed with the City Clerk and approved by resolution of the
City Council.
Section 3. That the resolution apprnvinS individual plans and specifi.
catio:9s shall direct that the work shall be dona in the manner required by
law and the City Charter and, further, may direct that the .project be
commenced immediately.
Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall
take effect and be in force upon its passage by unanimous vote of the
members of the City Council present at the time of its adoption. Zhe
reason for the urgency of this Ordinance is so that the work authorized
herein may be properly scheduled and spaced over this coming fiscal year.
