t RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR A CNG POWERED VAN
2 WHEREAS, the Engineering Department identified the need to replace the existing
3 Survey van, and
a WHEREAS, AB 434 funds were identified to fund the purchase of the van, and,
WHEREAS, Staff prepared specifications for a CNG powered van and solicited bids from
6 responsible vendors, and
~ WHEREAS, after reviewing the bids, all the bids exceeded the amount budgeted for the
s van,
9 THEREFOR staff recommends that the Council reject the bids received.
10 NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby rejects all bids
i I received for a CNG powered van and directs staffto explore other sources and vehicles to replace
12 the Survey van.
Under thepower and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
