HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 97-115 05/05/1997 . ~ Resolution No. 97-115 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California t ESTABLISHING THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF PARK LAND AND THE COST OF 2 IMPROVEMENTS THEREON, PURSUANT TO PETALUMA MUNICIPAL CODE 3 SECTION 20.34.010 AND AMENDING RESOLUTION. NO.93-325 N.C.S. TO 4 ESTABLISH FEES FOR PLANNING APPLICATIONS (DETERMINATION OF 5 PUBLIC CONVENIENCE OR NECESSITY AND FENCE PERMITS) FOR THE 6 PERIOD COMMENCING JUNE 5, 1997 7 8 9 WHEREAS, Chapter 20.34 of the Petaluma Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall IO determine, by Resolution, the fair market value and improvement costs per acre for parkland I1 property; and 12 13 WHEREAS, notice of the proposed increase in the existing fees for parklands as provided in 14 Chapter 20.34 of the Petaluma Municipal Code has been given pursuant to the requirements of IS Government Code Section 54992; and 16 l7 WHEREAS, data indicating the amount of cost or estimated cost required to provide the service 18 for which the parkland fee is levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the service for 19 which the parkland fee is levied has been made available to the public, in accordance with the 20 provisions of Government Code Section 54992; and 2t 22 23 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 93-325 N.C.S. was adopted on December 2, 1993 to establish 24 certain fees for accepting applications by the Planning Department; and 25 26 WHEREAS, since the adoption of said Resolution, certain actions and/or review processes have 27 been added to the responsibility of the Planning Department; 28 29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the fair mu'ket value for park land for the period 30 commencing June 5, 1997 and until revised, is hereby established at $120,000.00 per acre, 31 pursuant to Petaluma Municipal Code Section 20.34; and 32 33 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Chat the improvement cost for park land public improvements 34 located in streets and other rights-of-way (Petaluma Municipal Code Section 20.34.060) fot' the 35 same period is hereby established at $70,130.00 per acre pursuant to Petaluma Municipal Code 36 Section 20.34; and 1 a~omc~No. 97-115 x.as.
