This group is asking the City for help to locate suitable land with water access, but is not asking for funding. Susan Starbird, Petaluma Small Craft Center Coalition (PSC3), Petaluma, spoke about access on the river for small craft, and the possible creation of a Petaluma Small Craft Center. Tom Cardoni, Petaluma, invited all to the fourth annual "Celebrate the Accordion Day," June 24, 2006, at Putnam Plaza from 11:45 a.m. until 5:00 and at the Petaluma Historical Museum courtyard 4th and B Streets from 11:00 - 6:00. Phil Jayhan, Petaluma, spoke regarding pedophiles and kidnappers. John FitzGerald, Petaluma, spoke regarding individuals throwing empty propane canisters into the river. He announced that the ship Alma will be coming for the Jazz Festival in August. Larry Jonas, Petaluma, spoke regarding the bollard controversy and suggested using them for parking of bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles. Phil Grosse, Petaluma, said that the City cannot afford to spend $100,000's to produce police logs such as used to be available. Frank Simpson, Petaluma, urged the City and Argus -Courier to reach a reasonable compromise. Victor Chechanover, Petaluma, suggested that in the future, the complainant speak first.
