Commissioner Thompson - Eucalyptus are aggressive and require yearly maintenance (very costly). Commissioner Rahman - When a City allows development in a certain area, a decision is made that has a range of impacts, Eucalyptus can't cohabitate with urban development. 11 54 Commissioner Stompe - Agrees with removal of Eucalyptus near homes - concerned with 55 long term maintenance assurances and costs. 2 324 Commissioner Parkerson Should remove some of the trees, rather than all. - large scale removal would totally change sense of landscape and would be inappropriate; need time to view trees before taking action.
