FINAL MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Alonso called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Diana Gomez, Scott Alonso, Patrick Streeter, and Sandi Potter.
ABSENT: Richard Marzo, Heidi Bauer, and Kevin McDonnell.

Commissioner Gomez volunteered to serve as the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee
liaison for the next year.

Motion: Approve appointment of Commissioner Gomez as the Pedestrian and Bicycle
Advisory Committee liaison for the next year made by Scott Alonso, seconded by
Patrick Streeter.
Vote: Motion carried 4 - 0.
Yes: Diana Gomez, Scott Alonso, Patrick Streeter, and Sandi Potter
Absent: Richard Marzo, Heidi Bauer, Kevin McDonnell
The rest of the appointments will be continued to the next meeting.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
The Commission will hear public comments only on matters over which it has jurisdiction. There
will be no Committee/Commission discussion or action. The Chair will allot no more than three
minutes to any individual. If more than three persons wish to speak, their time will be allotted
so that the total amount of time allocated to this agenda item will be 15 minutes.
The General Public Comment period was opened; seeing no one wishing to speak, the comment
period was closed.

S. STAFF COMMENT
A. Planning Manager's Report
Heather Hines, Planning Manager, reported that at the last City Council meeting, the Water
Street Properties project was heard by the Council, requesting the rezoning of civic space and a
realignment of a utility easement. Ms. Hines also reported that there will be a Housing
Workshop at the 7/29/19 City Council meeting and all are welcome to attend. The purpose is to
discuss where we are, what we are doing and how we will meet the needs of the community.
Vice Chair Alonso inquired about the Fine Balance art project appeal.

Ms. Hines responded that there will be an appeal of the "Fine Balance" art project at the
September 16th City Council meeting.

6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Approval of Minutes for the meeting of Tuesday, June 25, 2019

There was not a quorum to approve the minutes, therefore, approval will continue to the next
meeting.

Sunnyslope project for three new single-family homes located at Lots 7, 8, and 9
of the Sunnyslope II Subdivision located at 674 Sunnyslope Road made by Diana
Gomez, seconded by Patrick Streeter.
Vote: Motion carried 4 - 0.
