APPROVAL AL OF MINUTES: The minutes of March 13, 1984 were approved .as
amende .
Paragraph 3 of the Commissioners Report shall be amended as follows,:
Mr. Bal'shaw asked to know the timing, of hearing the Zoning Ordinance
amendments, particularly, concerning bed and 'breakfast inns. The matter
wi7Z be discussed at the A prrZ 24 meeting.

insure the proper integration of uses which, because of
their special nature, may be suitable only in certain
locations and only provided such uses are arranged or
operated in particular manner. In addition to, the
review described herein, any proposed Conditional Use

Article 23, Section 301 - Landscape Maintenance
Motion. introduced by Commissioner Read., seconded, by
Commissioner Sobel, that the Commission recommend, to the
City Council. that the zoning ordinance be amended as
follows:
All planting shall be maintained in good growing,
conditions. Such maintenance shall include, where
appropriate, pruning,, mowing, weeding, cleaning of
debris and trash, fertilizing and regular watering.
Whenever necessary, planting shall be replaced with
other plant materials to insure continued compliance with
applicable landscaping requirements. Whenever required
herein or whenever the Zoning Administrator (Director of
Development and Planning) shall deem it necessary, he
may require the installation of an appropriate ropriate automatic
irrigation system. Whenever required irrigation systems
shall be fully maintained in sound operating condition
with heads periodically cleaned and replaced when
missin to insure continued regular watering of
landscape areas, and health and vitality of landscape
materials.
