ED .Motion introduced by Commissioner Popp, seconded Commissioner Head to recommend approval of the variance to accessory dwellings to exceed, the 640 ,square foot - limit by square feet based on the following findings: Findings: Section 26 =303.1 by allow 225 There are peculiar and unusual conditions inherent in the property in question sufficient to -cause hardship in that- the, rest of Alma Court contains; a substantial number of duplexes and many of such. duplexes: exceed 8.95 square feet- per unit: in,. size.. Section- 26- 303 .2 That a hardship peculiar to the property and. not created by any act of the owner exists in that it is the: sole property on the street zoned R -1 6500, a zoning which restricts the size of the second unit by requiring a: much longer lot area per unit than the remainder of the block (.where- a second -. unit is requested) and restricts the size of the second unit in a manner which is much more restrictive than the remainder of the block.
