Released four issues of Newsletter for City employees
Conducted workplace security awareness and de-escalation
trainings for City employees
Offered Hands -only CPR for City employees at the Benefits
Health Fair
Partnered with Cross -Fit Sav-Up to provide membership
discounts to City employees and families
Offered free Petaluma Transit bus rides for City employees
Participated in the 2019 The Great California Shakeout exercise
and utilized the City's Cisco Alert Notification System to
announce the drill and to send an "all clear" message
Tested the panic buttons to ensure Police Dispatch received
notification
Hosted a potluck in May for our City employees
Provided all City facilities with Injury and Illness Prevention
Program Binders
Established a multi -disciplinary threat assessment team
comprised of HR/Risk, Legal, Police Departments and a
contract forensic psychologist
Tested the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in City Hall
Participated in the WALK Challenge (came in V place!!!)

Host "lunch -and -learn" trainings for employees all year-round to comply with
federal and state regulatory requirements (partnership with the City's workers'
compensation claims administrator, Keenan, and internal resources)
Violence in the workplace awareness and prevention training
De-escalation training
Earthquake and evacuation drills
Hands -only CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator workshop
Emergency preparedness training (both at home and at work as a mandated
disaster service worker)
Partnership with the Petaluma Health Care District and participate in the
Petaluma Walking Day, April 1, 2020
Emergency Evacuation Plan and Emergency Procedure Posters to display at all
City facilities
Regular safety inspections at all City facilities
Employee Interest Survey to solicit feedback from employees on what types of
wellness initiatives are important.
On-site classes related to wellness and partnership with Kaiser Permanente in
developing wellness initiatives for our City employees
