Petaluma Planning Commission March 22, 1983- Regular M, eeting, 7:30 p.m. City Council Chambers Petaluma, California -- PRESENT: Commissioner Head, Hilligoss, Lavin Popp, Shearer, and Tencer *arrived at 7:37 ABSENT: Commissioner Bond STAFF: Gregory C. Freitas, Community Development and Planning Director Warren Salmons, Principal' Planner APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of February 8th and March 8th, 1983, were approved as submitted. The minutes of. 11th were corrected on Page 2, ,Item 12: NOE vote is Comm. Head _rather than Comm: <, Hitfigoss- CORRESPONDENCE: Chairman, Shearer wanted to. know if there was 'a reply ready ` for Mrs. L`elouaen regarding the condition of Cherry St. Staff advised they should have -a report ready for: the next meeting. DIRECTOR'S ;REPORT: 0 Mr. Freitas advised the City Council began its. review of the GP /EDP' Amendments'. Penn Phillips was turned down by the Council. 2) City Council wants to set a workshop date with the Planning Commission next month regarding, mitigation ". policies on ponding. 3) A special workshop meeting for the Planning Commissioners has been set up for April 5th. I. Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Political Signs, E.I.Q. Tape 1.02 - 111' Items 7.1- 3/11.744 Staff advised they would like this item withdrawn as the City Attorney would like to' wait on the outcome of a Supreme Court case of similar nature. It was the consensus. of the commission to withdraw this item. II. Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Mobile Office Trailers Tape 1.11 226 1. Item 7.104 - To consider amending Section 21- 406.5 of. the. Zoning Ordinance to redefine the conditions under which„ mobile office trailers would be permitted. Categorically exempt from CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act)'. .171 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES MARCH 22, 1983 11. Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Mobile Office Trailers - continued The' hearing was continued from 3/8/83. The public hearing was closed. Motion introduced by Comm. Head, seconded by Comm. Popp, to recommend to the City Council approval of the proposed amendments regarding mobile office trailers. The City Engineer has requested a continuance. A t was the consensus of -the commission -to continue this item to April 26, 1983.
