4) Opportunity for 'site design options.

The Director o,f.Environmental Affairs, Frank Gray,
l informed the.Commission :that have the option of
adopting "`spec'ial site. design, criter.ia, and that this
option can be. initiated at any, time* however, Commissioner
Bond requested a resolution be: submitted at -,a future
meeting which would include the first three points listed
above..

Upon a motion.-made by Commissioner Bond and seconded by
Commissioner Waters, the Planning Director was directed to
'prepare and post a Negative Declaration for the proposed

East Washington Street Widening Project based on the staff

OTHER BUSINESS Chairman Hilligoss publicly thanked 6x-Commissioner John.
Balshaw for his four years of service on the Commission,
commending him on the hard work he had done and expressing
regret at this termination..
