FINAL MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Bauer opened the meeting at 7:00 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Richard Marzo, Heidi Bauer, Patrick Streeter, Kevin McDonnell, and Sandi
Potter
ABSENT: Diana Gomez, and Scott Alonso
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
The Commission will hear public comments only on matters over which it has jurisdiction. There
will be no Committee/Commission discussion or action. The Chair will allot no more than three
minutes to any individual. If more than three persons wish to speak, their time will be allotted
so that the total amount of time allocated to this agenda item will be 15 minutes.
Vice Chair Bauer opened public comment period. Seeing no one wishing to speak, she closed
the comment period.
4. COMMITTEE COMMENT
A. Council Liaison — Kevin McDonnell
Vice Mayor McDonnell reported on the following:

County workshop regarding new fire sustainability tax being considered for the March 2020
ballot.
City Council workshop regarding financial and operating sustainability where they discussed the
City's revenue options and expense efforts and 2020 will be the year for developing a plan for
sustainability.
Climate Committee workshop where a lot of great ideas were developed with hopes of climate
health actions.
Vice Mayor McDonnell also noted that this was his last Planning Commission meeting and
thanked the Planning Commissioners and staff for their hard work and stated how honored he
was to be part of this body for the past year. He came with clear mission, vision and hope and
the progress made in 2019 went beyond his expectations.
Vice Chair Bauer thanked the Vice Mayor for his service in the past year.
B. Pedestrian and Bicycle Committee — Diana Gomez
Commissioner Gomez was absent, therefore no report was given.
C. Tree Advisory Committee — Scott Alonso
Chair Alonso was absent, therefore no report was given.
D. Other Committee Comment
Commissioner Marzo thanked Vice Mayor McDonnell for his time served on the Commission.
5. STAFF COMMENT
A. Planning Manager's Report
Brittany Bendix, Deputy Planning Manager, reported that there will not be a special meeting on
December 23rd regarding the Corona Station Residential project due to a lack of a quorum, but
the Commissioners will review this project again before it goes to the City Council at the end of
January. She also thanked Vice Mayor McDonnell for his participation on the Planning
Commission in 2019.
6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Approval of Minutes for the meetings of Tuesday, November 12, 2019 and Tuesday,
November 19, 2019.

8. NEW BUSINESS
A. Daily Single -Family Residence — Site Plan and Architectural Review for a new single-
family residence on a 0.26 -acre vacant lot located within the Country Club Estates Planned Unit
Development and in the South Hills Subarea. The applicants are seeking exceptions to reduce
minimum required setbacks, exceed maximum depth of the upper story deck and reduce the
number of required street trees.
