Battaglia, Head, Lavin, Popp, Shearer, Tenter, Waite STAFF: Gregory Freitas, Community Development & Planning Director APPROVAL OF MINUTES: None DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Dodge City Amusement Center One of the conditions of approval for the Dodge City Amusement Center Use Permit -requires that the Planning Commission review the Use Permit yearly, and a review be conducted at any time substantial or repeated complaints are received by the Planning Department. During the,pas.t year., no adverse comments were received by the Community Development or Police Departments regarding the use. It was the consensus of the Commission that no further review of this Use Permit be taken at this time. Residential.Development Control System The City Council adopted the time deadline establishing a.criteria and the allotment cut- off :date for the 1981 building year to permit persons to file applications for single family subdivisions, between now and the 2nd of May, and homes to be built between May, 1981,and December 31, 1981. COMMISSIONERS REPORTS: Park Place II Subdivision Comm. Waite reported the Parks & Recreation j Commission reviewed the.proposed Park Place II Subdivision, and it will be one of the first parks, 32-4 acres, to be turfed and irrigated under the new ordinance. PUBLIC HEARINGS SOUSA SUBDIVISION —MAGNOLIA AVE; PAULA LANE, SCHUMAN LANE -TENTATIVE MAP (Tape 94-1187) Item 6.30.7 to consider the expired Tentative Subdivision Map for the proposed Sousa Subdivision,, approved by the Ci-ty Council in 1978 and which expired on August -21, 1979.; to be located in -the vicinity Of Magnolia Avenue, Paula Lane:, Schuman'Lane, Elm Drive and Birch'Drive. The Public Hearing was opened and 'closed. Motion introduced by Comm. Popp; seconded by°Comm. Head to recommend the City Council deny the Tentative Map on the basis.it does not contain the balance of the property and wait- until the map contains the entire property. AYES: 3 NOES: LAVIN/SHEARER/TENCER/WAITE Motion to deny failed - no action. :9F Motion introduced by Comm.
