AYE`S: 6 ABSENT: POPP CITY LANDSCAPE & IRRICATION SYSTEM :POLICIES The proposed.City Landscape and Irrigation System Policies was briefly dis- cussed by the Commission, The intent of the policy is to provide a design cIriter a` for the installation of irrigation systems and landscaped areas for commercial, , industrial and multi- family developments, and to provide land scage `designs., architects, installers and the public -with a better understand- ing of ilNe nature of 'irrigation system and landscaping desired in Petaluma. The Chamber. of Commerce had reviewed the proposal and submitted their modifications to the policy. Comm, Lavin suggested that other cities be contacted to :determine what the'Y are using for landscape guidelines and a comparison be made with the proposed policy. Comm. Tencer asked JoAnn Pozzi if the Chamber of Commerce would send a letter, before the Workshop Committee met, explaining their request to eliminate some of the policy items.
