CITY LANDSCAPE & IRRICATION SYSTEM :POLICIES
The proposed.City Landscape and Irrigation System Policies was briefly dis-
cussed by the Commission, The intent of the policy is to provide a design
cIriter a` for the installation of irrigation systems and landscaped areas for
commercial, , industrial and multi- family developments, and to provide land
scage `designs., architects, installers and the public -with a better understand-
ing of ilNe nature of 'irrigation system and landscaping desired in Petaluma.
The Chamber. of Commerce had reviewed the proposal and submitted their
modifications to the policy. Comm, Lavin suggested that other cities be
contacted to :determine what the'Y are using for landscape guidelines and a
comparison be made with the proposed policy. Comm. Tencer asked JoAnn Pozzi if
the Chamber of Commerce would send a letter, before the Workshop Committee
met, explaining their request to eliminate some of the policy items.
It was the consensus that. the City Landscape & Irrigation System Policies be
d iscus, sed 'at, special Workshop Meeting to be held on July 31, 1979 at
7:30 p ma.
