The City Planning Commis,sion. met -at a Special Meeting !at" the
Council Chambers' of the, City. Hall on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. to' hear
the property owners of Baker Street,, between Bodega Avenue and —I
Stanley Street,.. on 'the subject of placing fiv6 foot sidewalks on
both sides of - said street.
The members of the Commission present were:, Chairman Mrs.
Hamilton, Attorney Cromwell, Secretary McFadden and MQssrs.Thomas,.
Jones, Evans and - and City Engineer Gonzalez.
The Chairman called for a discussion and of the seven property
Owners present : all were unanimous 'in the opinion that they 6
have the oi&ewalks as suggested.
The question of the power lines and poles was discussed
opi,nion being that the poles should be moved if possible from
-the street either on the property of the residents or underground.

At the suggestion of Mr. Cromwell motion wazs'madeby Mr. Evans.,
s66onded by Mr. Greene that the meeting be adjourned unt.il -Tuesday,
July 23 . rd at 7.-30, when the matter would again be ' taken,up after.
all the property, owners Were notified b letter,. Motion carried.
Mr. Cromwell also suggested, that the - property owners, appoint
a committee to work with the Planning Commission.
Meeting adjourned, the Chairman instructing the Secretary to.
notify 411 property owners Of Baker Street, between Bodega Avenue
and, Stanley Street,' to be present On July 23rd at 7:, to furth-er
discuss the project, as the notice for the present meeting Was given
by news .paper only, - due to the change in, office of Secretary ; ,
