Regular meeting of 'the Planning Comml&sio n o the City of
Petaluma called to order by Mrs. Hamilton at '7;: P;. M,
ROLL, CALL:,
'Members pres,ent: Mrs. Hamilton, Messrs. Cromwell.,,, Evans,.,
Green, Gonzalez and Jones,.
Absent: McFacIden, and Mayor Farrell.
READING OF THE JOURNAL:
The minutes 77 the. meeting of" August 5, 1930 were. read
and approved.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:1
water St. Improvement;
Mr. Jones reported on 'the Water Street Improvement
recommending the following-
That all existing porches :and isheds, and -minor
additions to present buildings, that are -now -In
the street. should be removed.
That all ash cans garba e, cans boxes bin's, etc,
that are standing in the street should. be, removed,
and kept removed..
That existing tumbledown sheds,. fences, gates,,_'et'p...
should be s-traightened up and repaired.
That loose sheets of f corrugated iron at present
on corrugated iron buildings should: 'be renailed.,
That vines be Planted at desirable points, oil
agreement with property owners or tenants-, t7at
the same shb d be Water'ed,.
That, owing to the numerous signs on pre s ent- wall s,
o f bui ldings,, that it would- be impoasible to induce
owners or tenants to paint their buildings.
That the important point is to clear the street.
The report was duly accepted and placed on record and on motion
regularly made and carried the report was referred to the-City
Council with the request th,at due :consideration -, the Council,
_.return the report to the Planning Commis with their recommendations
and suggestions.
NEW BUSINESS,:,
Mrs. 'Wm,., Perry was present and reported on a meeting, ,held
at Santa Rosa in view of forming a Countuy Plarining Conmi,sfs-ion; M rs .
PerrT had a- copy of 'the By-laws of County Blanning Gomm i
The matter of the elebtlot of olffi was discussed and
put off until July which is the usual. time� for changing officers in
all civic bodies.
