Regular meeting of th6 Planning Commlszion of the City of
Petaluma called to, order by Mrs. Hamilton at 7`z:35 P.M,
ROLL, CALL:, ■
'Members pres.ent:Mrs. Hamilton, Messrs. Cr'omwell., Evans,,
Green, Gonzalez and Jones,.
Absent: McFadden and Mayor Farrell.
READING OF THE JOURNAL.:
The minutes of the meeting, of August 5, 1930 we'rere'a'd
and approved.
RE-P.ORTS, OF COMMITTEES:,
Water St. Improvement.i
Mr. Jones reported on -the Water Street Improvement..,
recommending the following:
That all existing porches :and isheds, and minor
additions. 'to oresent buildings, that are -now In
the street should be removed.
That all ash. cans, garbage,cans, boxes; bins, etc,.,
that a re standing in the. street' should. be, -removed,
and kept removed,
That existing tumbledown sheds,.:fences, gates 'et,c.

should be straightened up and repaired.
That loose sheets Of corrugated- iron at present
on corrugated iron buildings -should-be renailed.,
That vines be planted
te,,d at desirable points, on
agreement with., proPerty owners or tenants-, t7a't
the same should be watered..
That, owing to the numerous signs on pre sent.., wall i3
of, buildings,, that it would-be, impossible to induce
owners or tenants to paint their buildings.
That the important point is to clear the street.
The, report was duly accepted and placed- on record and on motion
regularly made and carried the report was referred to the- City
Council with the request that.,afterdue consideration, the Council,
_.return the report to the Planning Comimis,sion- with -their recommendations
and suggestions.
NEW BUSINESS,:,
Mrs. 'Wm,., Perry was preslelnt• and reported on a meeting, ,held
at Santa Rosa in view of forming a Countuy Plarining Commi,sfsioh,,' Mrs,..
Perry had a copy of 'the By-laws of County Blanning Gommis`:sion.
The tatter of the election of oiffi,cers was discussed and
put off until July which is the usual. time -for changing officers in
all civic bodies.
