to allow construction of a Church In an R -1 -60.00 Zane located at l221
East Wash,Ington Street wa.s held. In his oral 'report the Planner point-
ed out that the parcel Is an, odd shaped. lot., making it difficult for
subdividing,, (and the limited access would prohibit commercial use of
the land, th.erefore,, the, proposed construction of a church would be a
good uzseo Rev. Eugene flelds - pastor,, was present on behalf of the apm
plicatlorr The Commissioners made several fn u° ries as to the size,,
seating capacity,, etc. No prrot :es -s were voiced, whereupon Res. U4-64,,
granting ,the use permit,, was introduced by Comm. Stanley, seconded by
Comm. Cavanagh and passed unanimously.

Public hearing was for application filed by Roger Sanderson requesting
the addlition of Automo Sales & Service as a permitted use in the
C N Zone! The Plannel' made an oral report stating that the C - Zone
was actually a detion'ation graven to small neighborhood establishments
but1had1so been applied to Ease. Washington Street for the purpose
Of minimising traffi°ce Rezoning of Ease Washington Street has been
under cor'esidera.t.lon for some time In view of the many nonconforming
uses already established. The Pl -anner recommended in favor of th I s ad-
dition {toll the CWN Zone,, pro,Jrided that the use is locat or, a major

protests.1were voiced. Res Z6 -64 recommending to the City Coun-
