t,h,e minutes for the meeting of Dec. 6. 1965 were

The Comm, I ission reviewed the variance application filed by Bernard Reed
-and A. IJI.aFranchi t,o -allow a 36 ft. high apa,rt.ment building and a rear
yard setback of 14.6 ft. located atl,�205, 211 and 215 Howard Street and
10 14, Stanley Str (A.P. #6-311-15; -8; -9). Mr . Byrd pre-
sented a comprehensiVe report, recommendin approva,1 of the variances.

High Street was present and asked veveral questions but voiced no oppo-
;s it. i.on i the variandez. The applicants were also present. Res. V27-
65, gra ' nting the variance,,, was introduced by Comm. Gans, seconded by
Comm. Galtewood and passed unanimously.
KAZEN NO. 3 TENTATIVE MAP APPROVAL, FILE
The CommIss Ion examined the I tentat i've map f illed by George Kazen f or
Kazen 'No , 3 Subdivision,. The Planner submitted his report and reports
from the - Cfty Engineer and F.1ood Cd'ntr6l (SaId . reports being part of
the perm [ anent file.). 'Mt. Kazen and Dave'alende,ning (engineer for the
subdivi.slion) were pre.'sent and, agreed to comply with those conditions
listed in the various re pofts. Res. 33-659• aoproving the 'tentative
ma based on compliance with the above mentioned reports, was Intro-
duced by 'Comm. Styl-es,j seconded by Comm, Gans and passed unanimously.
ARNOLD MAZER RE: NAMING ROAD CREAZED BY LOT ZPLI'T
A motion was made by Comm. Gans., seconded by Comm. Gatewood and passed

REDREY REZONING. 'PROPOSAL, FOR BODEQA AVENUE.
The Comm4,ssJ`6n,reviewed the Red.rey Corporation.' s rezoning -proposal

for c VnArc,ial zoning"on Bod AVenue (this being "a referral from
the Sonoma County I ' Commission). The Planner pre the
staff report ('made part of the permanent file). The Commi'ssion,in-
vited Mr., Reed Vice- President of the Redrey Carp to presv
any new or additi,ons, 5 '1 information that he might haVe to justify the

denial Y the original application Comm, Styina moved that the
Commi.ission recommend that the County deny the application. The mo-
tion was seconded by Comm. Gans and passed unanimously.
MIFIaITIMS TO THE PETALUMA AREA GENERAL PLAN
The Plainer reminded the Commissioners that modifications to the
Petalumi Area General Plan will be reviewed at the next regular ment-
ing,
