A favorable staff' report was presented by Mr Anderson recommending. approval subject to-the -three conditions- stated in the report. 'Father .Paulsen,was present repre'- sen.ting Hanna Boys, Center. A motion was intro- duced by Comm. Waters, seconded by Comm. Hood that the Planning Commission strongly recommend this matter.be t eated as a subdivision subject to •'s abdivi'slon iimpr-ovements . The motion passed unanimously. RYAN OUTDOOR ADVERTISING PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE; The staff explained the request of Ryan Outdoor Advertising to reduce the space requirement be't- ween outdoor advertising structures from .1,000 feet to 9 feet. It was ,pointed out that this.- would establish precedent.: -. in the area, and, should not'be approved. A motion was introduced by Comm. Waters and.seconded`by Comm. Cerini that a letter °be forwarded to the Sonoma County Board of Zoning Adjustments stating the Petaluma Plan - ning o_nssion opposed "the requested variance. The passed unanimously -. The Commission selected three members and an alternate to the Planning Advisory Committee for the :General Plan Study.
