Schram, President o f °Heritage Homes of Petaluma, encourag- ing the city to establish area-to be known as "Historic Petaluma." Extension The Commission directed the staff to.forward a letter to the Sonoma county Board of Zoning Adjustments indicating their support of the abatement of the existing violation. (Motion made by Comm. Cerini, .seconded by Comm® Balshaw ®) _4)_ Chairman the.public hearing. Testimony in opposition to-changing the name of Cindy Lane for .that portion of the street, was heard from Richard Stout, 740-Cindy Lane., Wm® Gray, 743 Cindy Lane and Mr. Ashman, 73'9 Cindy Lane. They felt a change in name would add..to.the.confusion of trying to locate ..-the.street. Furthermore,. it would cause great in- convenience relative to.reprinting business cards, drivers licenses',' etc.. There being no further testi- Chairman Waters-closed the public hearing. The Planning Director explained the present street number- ing system to the-Commission,; namely, the grid-system numbering in a.north-south and east-west direction. Following. -further discussion a motion was made by Comm...Balsbaw that..the,entire U-shape (including the area within Terra Vista Knolls Subdivision and the new Cherry Valley Subdivision) named "Cindy Lane" and the 6.uaits.-on the end ..be called "Cindy Court." The motion was seconded by.Comm,...Cerini and passed by all members present. RENAME PORTION OF Mr.. McGivern,pointed,out the conflict and confusion STREET KNOWN AS in the..direction and numbering system of "Cherry CHERRY STREET TO Street,.." At present Street runs from Petaluma ANTONE WAY, RES. .-Blvd.. North to Elm,Drive, with another section running 26-71 from. Magnolia- Avehue,,.and forming a T intersection with Cherry Street — Chairman- .Waters opened the public hearing, No testimony was-heard in opposition to changing the.name-.of the street running from magnolia Avenue to Cherry .Street, .to ".ANTONE WAY,," Mr. Norman Rollins, owner..of..property affected by the proposed ..Change stated he.favored the name change to Antone . .Way ® Chairman Waters closed the public hearing. Res. 26-71, recommending to. ,the City Council that a certain.,portion of-.Cherry be renamed "Antone Way''. was,introduced by Comm. Daly, seconded by Comm.
