SECTION 8A-101.2 The Commission recommended t he, Sect"on be chang to read: "The P4anning Commission, on its own motion or i"n respon:se to a request . from interested parties, may initiate proca:edings for iT establishment of a P-r District,."' SECTION 8A - (2) (c) , PAGE 13 The Commis- sion recommended the deletion of the last part of the section -"'in the case of appli- cations initiated by the Planning Comm'Ission." SECTION 8A-400 The Commission recommended.the preamble. be deleted - "Additional material and information shall be provided for speciflc types of uses as follows:" The:Commission recommended the words "approxi- rha t and "generaZ 11 Abe deleted, where - applic- able throughout the text. SECT 8A-401.4, LINE 6 The Commission recom- mended the followi-fig two sentences be removed : "The 'number of dwe-lling units in one building 2) in the R-1 (one be limited to two ' ,,hall % Family Residential.) .Distr=ict, eight (8) in the RI-2 (Twolramily Residential) District.- There shall be no limit to the number of units in a building in all other zones." SECTION 8A-40 LINE 8 The Commission wanted it understood that " proposals m be submitted" by the applicant or initiated by the Planning Commission. SECTION 8A-405.2 The Commission recommended this secti.on be deleted and the numbering of the followitig section be adjusted to read.: ' - 2 rr . -5- Planning Commission Minutes February 1, 1972 , stcTim 8A-501, LINE 1 The Commission, recom- mended the words "in substantial harmony" be deleted from this section. SECTION 8A-503, LINE '2 .The Commission recom- m.ended.the words "beyond reasonable doubt" be 'deleted. SECTION 8A-5 The.Commission recommended this Section be dele,te the text. The numbering of the following sections be. adjusted appropriately SECTION 8A-50304 (adjusted numbering) The Commi,stsion recommended-this section be deleted from the text. SECTION 8A-600 LINE 3 The Commission - recom- mended the words "the developers or staff and district as the case may be," be deleted and substituted with the words "interested p arti, es • SECTION 8A-603, LINE 1.1 The Commission recom- : Mended,the following phrase be deleted from the sen'tence."if it is not in accord, even-though it meets all requirements, it shall be denied." SECTION 8A-603, LINE 19 The Commission recom- mended the words "or, rented" be inserted to read:' "Thdae structures shall not be sold or rented until the final; snap is recorded." SECTION :8A-604, LINE 1 The Commission.recom- mended the words "From time to time" be de- leted, This. completed the recommended changes for the Planned Community District'Text. PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT SECTION LINE 2 The Commission - recom- mended "Business License" be deleted from the section. Chairman Waters closed the public hearing. A resolution wds introducedby Comm. Schmelz, , seconded by Comm. Balshaw recommending to the City Counci,1 it adopt a modification to the mooning Ordinance to provide for a Planhed Unit Development District. STUDY SESSION The Commission scheduled a study session to be held Thursday, February 10, 1972 at 7:30 p�m. to study the 'Planhing Commi ss io,n -_.By- Laws.
