N U 7 E S COMMISSION HALL PRESENT: Comm. Cerini, Daly, Popp, Schmelz, Waiters William C. McGivern, Director of Planning Richard D. A. Anderson, Assistant Planner CORRESPONDENCE: APRIL 4, 7:3 P. PETALUMA, 1972 CALIFORNIA Mr. McGivern discussed a letter received from the State Division of Highways regarding the reli- nqushment of Perry Lane at Lakeville Highway. Mr. McG ivern.read a let -ter from the Sonoma County Independent Ser- vice Station Dealers, Association, John Grant, Executive Secretary for the Board of Directors. This letter was directed to the County of Sonoma and the eight cities within the County requesting control of type and location of service stations. P LAN could follow.. Much discussion followed. A public hearing to amend the - General Plan to incorporate the new Environmental'Desgn Plan was scheduled for Tuesday, April 18, 1072. DISCUSSION. ON SETTING PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR PENDING REZONING RE- QUESTS, USE PERMITS, AND OTHER CASE MAT E RIAL;. Mr. McGivern reviewed the pending cases held over from the moratorium established by the City Council. Much discussion followed r egarding each case where- upon -a motion was introduced by Comm. Cerini, seconded by Comm. Use Permit The motion was passed unanimously all Comm.ssionex present. MINOR - City-Engineer, appeared TENTATIVE MAP 'OF beforeltheoCommissitant on and explained what minor MOUNTAIN VIEW changes were necessary. Mr.'Wood read a let ,ter ESTATES SUBDI- from Mr. Milton Hud'is,, Engineer for the applicant. VISION 'Mr. Wood gave an up -to -date status report on, subject item® The applicant requested the stubb street be eliminated as a requirement of the ten- tat.ve .map® Much discussion fo1°lowed whereupon the Commission suggested the subject item was referred back to the engineers for additional alternativesi. SUNCO DEVELOPMENT -Mr. Frank LaPointe, BUNCO -Development _Company, EXTENSION OF TIME submitted a letter to the Planning Commission, ,requesting an extension of time to file 'a final map. He requested a 12 months extension on the, present tentative map -. A'motfon was dntroduced by Comm. Daly, seconded by Comm.
