Mr. Del Wilkinson, applicant, appeared before the Commission. Mr. Larkin, representing Corporation, appeared before the 'Commission. CPD CORPORATION Public hearing to consider an application filed USE PERMIT by CPD Corporation for a use permit to allow a gasoline service station (automobile use only) in a,proposed C-H'*Zone,'955 Lakeville Highway. Mr. M8i3VV' read the staff report and made it part of the record. The staff report recommended approval of the subj;ect use permit. Mr® Larkin appeared before the Commission stating he was agreeable to the conditions as set forth in the staff report® Based upon the testimony as given and weighing all the facts; a motion was introduced by Comm. Popp, seconded by Comm. Schmelz, approving the application f iled by CPD Corporation f or a use permit to allow a service station at 955 Lakeville Highway,. The motion was passed unan- imously by all members present. GRANT SCHOOL Mr. Lyle Hood brought before the Commission's attention the Petaluma School District's pro - posal to close Grant Elementary School and use the subject school possibly for San Antonio Continuation High S,chool. The proposed closing of the school is 'a result of 6�cpense cUUing program of ' the School District. Mr. Hood re- quested the Commission to forward a_ letter to the Petaluma School District Board of Directors making the Board aware of the proposed develop- ment for the ,area 'and the traffic problem the San Antonio HIgh Sahool-" would icause.. After much discussion, a was introduced by Comm.iPopp, seconded Schmelz, directing Mr. McGivern to inform the Petaluma School District Board of ihe 'development and construction plans for the area and of the traffic circulation patterns.
