The special meeting of City Planning Commission on June 26 196.2 was held at 7030 P.m. oQclock in the Council Chambers, City Hall,, for the purpose of acting upon the proposed zoning ordinance developed by the Consultant Firm, Livingston & Blayney and modified by the City Planning Commission, Present: Commissioners Gibbs, Lane,, Stanley.. Absent: Commissioners (Gustafson, Popp. City Staff: Robert E.-Byrd,, Director of Planning Vice Chairman Stanley opened the meeting in the absence of Chairman Popp. Commissioner Stanley stated that local realtors had in- dicated to him that they desired to have the minimum site area require- ments of 2000 square,feet per dwelling unit in the R -M District re- duced. After a brief .discussian Commissioner Gibbs moved that the mini- mum site area per dwelling unit be reduced to 1500 square feet; Com- missioner Lane seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously by all members present. RESOLUTION NOo 153 approving the proposed zoning ordinance as modified and recommending it to the City Council for approval and adop- tion, introduced by Commissioner Gibbs, and seconded by Commissioner Lane, was passed unanimously by all members present, ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting was adjourned. a
