Regular meeting of the Petaluma City Planning Commission held on Nov. 20
1962 at 7030 o'clock p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes for :the meeting of Novemb&r 7 1962 were approved as
submitted.
CORRESPONDENCE
The clerk read a let'ter tb"the,Planning Commission from

Although a use permit cannot be- issued "unt the area is within the
city limits, a resolution was prepared whi.eh *- Aeclar that the Planning
Commission intends to act so as to provld,e and proper
zoning required for the convalescent hospitals -'as . p roposed and further that
the P.C. declares its Pres�ent intention to,- t' b: legislative and other
steps teps necessary to carry out these intentions., The chairman then asked if
any one in the audience Vnshed to speak,,onthi$ matter. Howard Heggum,
realtor, informed the Commission that he, wa: representing Rees Jones.
Mr. Jones, Mr. Osborn and Mr. Harris, repre'senting the people In this
project, were als% present, and answered que regarding the proposed
venture. Mr.''Whis , and,, 1385 Petaluma 'Blvd..No.,. was concerned over how this
convalescent hospital would affe6t his property, and especially what bear-
ing an annexation would, have on his parcel. Mr. Byrd asked Mr. Whisand
to come to his office In o;rd,ex to clarify the answers to his Inquiry.
Resolution 159 (as explained above) was int.r by Comm. Gate'wood,
seconded by Comm. Popp and was unanimously approved by all members.present.
NORTH S.F. BAY INDUSTRIAL PARK, FINAL MAP APPROVAL
Mr. Byrd stated the.finalmap filed by Bruce Morehead wa,s not in
order at this time.and had been returned to Mr. Morehead engineer for
further revision.
The Commission_p_�s.sed on the following Use Permits
..-U42-62 - PATRIIQIA WILD, to conduct -home for foster c.h.ildren part-time
basis loc-ated at 130 East Court. Introduced by Comm. Popp/ sec-
