sideyard located at 509 Broadway, was held at this time. A staff report
was presented by Mr. Byrd. The Planning Director pointed out that the
parcel in question 1,es at the dead end of a public street. The city
made a, d'eci:sion. in 1946 not to continue the street through to Western
Avenue which heft an odd shaped piece of land, difficult to develop.
Therefore, the app- Licant requests this variance to allow the best type
of development for his parcel at the end of Broadway Street. The chair®
man asked .whether any one in the audience wished to speak on this ap-
