APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes for the meeting of Feb. 5, 1963 were approved as submitted.
CORRESPONDENCE
The Planning Director read a letter received from John Gibbs, former,
Planning Commissioner, relative to the Stoneburner Use Permit request.
FIBRECRETE CORPORATION, USE PERMIT, FILE NO. U47-63
Public hearing for use permit application'to allow the manufacture of
flotation units in an M-L Zone,.139 Hopper Street, was reviewed. The staff
report was presented by Mr. Byrd in which he stated that the operation is
relatively nuisance -free and appears to conform with all the performance
standards of the light industrial zone The Chairman asked if any one in
the audience wished to comment or ask questions. The question was raised
whether any dust would be created from the operation. Mr. Byrd assured
the interested party that no dust would be created and if in the future
any nuisance were evident, the permit would be reviewed at such time as a
complaint is registered. Resolution U4 -63, granting the use permit, was
introduced by Comm. Gustafson,'seconded by Comm, Popp and was unanimously
passed subject to the following conditions- (1) Outdoor storage areas
shall be screened in accordance with the screening and landscaping pro-
visions in Seca 21101, page 21 of the Zoning Ordinance #662 N.C.S. within
90 days (2) That trash and dunk scattered about the site shall be re-
. moved within 90 days. (3.) Failure to.comply with any or all of the
above stated conditions shall cause this peermit to be null and void.
DOROTHY PARKS, VARIANCE, FILE V4m63
Variance+ application to allow a. 14 ft. rear yard for proposed addition
located at 318 Stuart Drive,.was reviewed. In his staff report Mr. Byrd
stated that the site abuts a cyclone fence in the rear which delineates
the boundary of the State property along the freeway r/w. No objections
were voiced from the audience. V4 -63, granting the variance was intro-
duced. by Comm.'Lie;b. seconded by Comm. Gatewood and was unanimously passed
by all members present.
GERALDINE CROCI, USE PERMIT FILE NO, U3 °63
Public hearing for use'permit application filed by Geraldine Croci, to
allow multiple dwelling units in a transitional zone located at 51s 539 55
Mission Drive (A.P. #8471 ®19 ®20, ®21) was held. The Planning Director
presented the staff report.. Chairman Stanley invited any one from the

signed by same opposing the granting of the request. Mr VanBebber further
stated that it was their understanding when they purchased land in this
area it would remain single family residential in nature. Mr. Rich Croci,
the applicant's son, was in the audience and stated that he. just wished
to find out if the property could be used for multi - dwellings. Resolution
U3 -63, was introduced by Comm. Gustafson, seconded by Comm. Popp, recomm
mending that the use permit be denied. The resolution was unanimously
denied.
PUBLIC HEARING FOR 311 KELLER STREET, REZONING
The Commi - ssion set March 5, 1963 as the date ,for the public hearing for
rezoning 311 Keller Street from R-2 -300 to R -M 1500.
P UBLIC HEARING FOR ESTABLISH- ING,ZONING DISTRICT FOR PETALUMA NORTH AN-
VEXATION NO. 3 will be held on March 5, 1963.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
wa -s adjourned.
