Regular meeting of the Petaluma. City Planning Commission held on

APPROVAL OF MINUTES - the .minutes -for the meetings of Sept. 17 and
n 1963 were approved as submitted
CORRESPONDENCE
The Planner read a letter received from Henris Roofing relative '�
to correction of zoning Vi.olatl6h.' Mir. Byrd informed the Commission
that progress is being made in screening the area as required by the
condition of the Use Permit.,
Mr. Byrd also informed the 'Commission that 'a. repor had been sent to
the Counci.i regarding the me;et1ng with District IV., Division of High -
waysQ officials,, to coordinate future traffic planning for the Peta®
luma Area.
VINCENT J. O USE PERMIT, FILE.NO. U1-- -63, PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Stanley opened the public hearing regarding use permit ap-
pl.ication filed -by Vincent. Jo W'Malley,,, to c onduct an Import-export
business fr.om..his home - located att 3 1.1 Liberty Street. The staff re-
port was presented by the Planner .(made part, of the file). Mr. OaMal®
ley gave a bri resume . of.* the proposed operation. In view of the
fact that the entire .business mill be conducted by mail and no addi®
tional vehicular or.pede,s traffic will be generated., Use Permit
U15 =63 granting the .,'was introduced by Comm. Lieb, seconded by
Comms' Popp and unanimously passed by all members present subject to
the condition that the operation sha - ll' not be expanded to include
sales from the home in the future.

Byrd presented the staff report '(made part of the file) in which he

Variance application filed by A. Sarkesian to allow a sideyard set-
back of O.00 ft. for, - existing structure located on Parcel #2 at 530
South McDowell_ ,Blvd..., was reviewed. In view of the' fact that the
O.fte sideyard• setback would affect only the.s'hop building (as point-
ed out in the staff report '& made part, of the file) V25-63., g rant ing
the variance, was introduced by Comme;Popp seconded by Comma Gate -
wood and passed by,zll members present subject t - o the conditions
listed in the Variance Resolution.
