ABSENT, Commissioners Popp., Stanley. STAFF, Robert E. Byrd, Director of Planning APPROVAL OF MINUTES - the minutes for the meeting of Nov. 5. 1963 were approved as submitted. CORRESPONDENCE - No correspondence was received but Mr. Byrd Informed the Commission that the City Engineer and he were investigating the pos- sibility of having precise aerial photos to work.with in conjunction with the future development plan for Washington Street.. LEON FORTNER, VARIANCE, FILE-.NO.,. v30 -63 Variance application filed by'Leon Fortner to allow an 8 ft. front yard setback from curb line, locat ' ed at 24 Rraine;rd Way, was reviewed. A favorable staff report was prezented by the Planner (made part of the permanent file). The chairman invited'anyone from the audience to speak regarding the request.. No obj ections were voiced; whereupon Res. V30 granting the variance,, was Introduced byComm. Cavanagh, seconded by Comm. Gatewood and passed by all members present subject to the condi- tions listed on the resolution. W. J. Plant species must be approved by the Planning Director prior to the granting of a building pe=lt. 5. The access to the site shall be Improved as required by the City Engineers NOVAK SUBDIVISION REVISED TENTATIVE MAP APPROVAL V The Commission revIewed the revts.ed tentative map ptesented for Novak 4 Subdivision. The Planner read a report from the City Engineer (made part of the permanent file'),. Mr6 Jim Mitchel.1 (from Ed Carpenter Civil Engineering firm) was present in behalf of the applicant. A short dis- cussion was held regarding street names fog the subdivision. Res. 191 approving the revised tentative map was introduced -by Comm. Gatewood, seconded by Comm.
