The. minutes of August '22, 1 949 and September 26, 1949 were read
and approved a °s, read.
Goncerning zoning ordinance changes, it w as * ZONING,,CRDINANCE
de6ided to accept the rec °oin=endations of the.
City Council - concerning the following, (.
changes.:

Councilman Shoemaker was no, longer ,a member
of th Planning; ConVnission due to f i:s 'resig-
nation from the Planning; Cormiiss,ion having
been turned in to the CouncAl and accepted,.
Mr. Sales reported that he had spoken to the
Mayor who wa.s of the same opinion as the City
Attorney. ITVIr Brooks stated that CouAc'ilman
Anderson has been appointed as .a Commiasioner
and that his resignation at the meeting fol
1 „oti*ing his appointment was not ;accepted' by'
the Council and that he is, theref ore, the
Council's representative on the Planning
Commission until the Council, accep his
resigrriation and appoints another, Co,unc.i man
as a memoer of the Commission.

invitation to a joint meeting might better
come from the Council, than from the' Planning
