Home My WebLink AboutResolution 96-033 N.C.S. 02/05/1996RESOLUTION NO. 96-33 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AGREEMENTS WITH SONOMA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT RE: MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM 1 WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma applied for matching grant funds from the Sonoma County 2 Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District for acquisition of f] O acres on the McNear 3 Peninsula and t27 acres of the "Alman" Marsh; and 4 5 WHEREAS, said applications were approved subject to the City of Petaluma confirming its 6 intentions regarding investment in access and habitat enhancement equivalent to the Open Space 7 District's match; acid 8 9 WFIEREAS, in the case of the McNcar Peninsula property, the match is $184,500 as reflected 10 in the attached Exhibit A, and in the case of the Ahnan property, the match is $57,500 as retected in 11 the attached Exhibit B; 12 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to 14 execute said Letter Agreements. This letter will serve that purpose.
