The regular "meeting o the Planning Commission was held September 25,:1950,
in the Council.Chamber,s, City Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Present.: Commissioner -Arfsten,, Brown, "Kinzie & Putnam.
Absent: Commissioner De Luca.
City Officials Present: Mr.. Marshall,; 1t2ro Neis, 1 r `Krause and IV'Ir. Brooks

The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed out.'

A copy of the- agenda of the Tenth Annual Conference WESTERN GOVERNMENTAL
was received by the Planning Commission and will be RESEARCH "ASSOCIATION
on file if any of the members are .interested in
attending.
A letter-from Harrison Lepparegarding the rezoning McNEA_, ESTATE
of property bounded'by PVxan, Jefferson. and. Edith
Streets was read and filed. They asked that the
above property be zoned industrial or manufacturing.
A "public hearing was held_on the property north of PU3LIC HEA-MG '
Wilson Street and west of East Court-to be rezoned ZONING
There were no obj.ectiohs and the matter was tabled
until the next public hearing'October 9,.
The final map of the Booker Subdivision was presented LOOKER SUBDIVISION r
to the Commission. 1.�r.- Booker and Mr. Peebles were
present.
Approval of the final map could! not be given as- 'the
subdivision has not been annexed to the*city as.yet.
- .However, the Commission gave Mr. Booker an. informal
opinion that if and vahen the ;procedure.s are completed
for annexation, the Commission will take favorable
action on the map.

A resolution granting the application was introduced
by Commissioner Putnam and seconded by Commissioner
Brown,

Application to build a duplex at '217 Hopper Street, STELLA,.CARASALI
This is an M zone.
.Granted -providing the use permit is for the purpose
of building, a house in accordance with the: sketch

Commissioner Putnam.

Walter' Herbert Thompson appeared at the meeting__
to voice objection 'to the Cline property on K St.
extending through to Mountain View Ave, being zoned
Commercial. They had no objection to its being zoned
Comercial within 100 ft. of Mountain View Ave.
but asked that the strip extending from'Mountain View
Ave. back '100 ft, be zoned residential in order .to.
protect their residential property on.1!2ountain View
Avenue.
A discussion was held on what members of the
Planning Commission would attend the League of
California Cities Convention in Los Angeles ,from
October 22, to October 25.

Conn ssioner Arfsten, Brown, and .Putnam will be
unable to attend.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
was adjourned at 8 :50 p.m.

The regular - meeting of the Planning Commission was held at 4:30 p.m. October 9, 1950
in the Council Chambers, City Hall.
Present: Commissioner Brol n., Kinne,
Absent: Commissioner Arfsten
City Officials Present: Mr. Brooks,
Putnam & De Luca
Mr. Marshall, Mr. Neis & Mr. Krause
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed out.
The affidavit of posting and publishing were filed
at this meeting..
A resolution recommending the proposed amendment to
the Zoning. Ordinance No. 123 N.. C. S. reclassifying
the area bounded.bn the east by East Court and on the
south by Wilson Street from an R -2 zone to a C -2 zone
was introduced by Commissioner Putnam and seconded
by Commissioner Ki_nne.
Ayes: Connpissioner Brown, Kinne, Putnam & De. Luca
Noes.: None
Absent: Commissioner Arfsten
