Walter and Herbert Thompson appeared at the meeting
to voice objection to the Cline property on K St.
extending through to Mountain View Ave. being zoned
Commercial. They had no objection to its being zoned
Commercial within 100 ft. of Mountain View Ave.
but asked that the strip extend'irig from- Mountain View
Ave.; back 100 ft. be zoned residential in order .to
protect their residential property on Mountain View
Avenue.
A discussion was held on what members of the
Planning Commission would attend the League of
California. Cities Convention in Los Angeles .from
October 22 to October 25.

unable to attend.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting

The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was held at 4:30 p.m. October 9, 1950 .
in the Council Chambers, City Hall.
Present: Commissioner Brown., Kinne, Putnam &.De Luca

The minutes of the previous meeting werb'approved as mailed out.
The affidavit of posting and publishing were filed REZONING OF WILSON STREET ✓
At this meeting.
A. resolution recommending the proposed amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance No. 123 N. C. S reclassifying
the area bounded on the east by East Court and on the
south by Wilson Street from an R -2 zone to a C -2 zone
was introduced by Commissioner Putnam and seconded
by Commissioner Kinne

read and filed:

Mr. Peebles was present and was informed BOOKER SUBDIVISION
that both the tentative and final map would .
have to be filed the City after the
annexation proceedings have been c.ompl,eted.
The Planning Gomm`i s s on will cial l a special
meeting for the purpose of approving both maps
as soon as the annexation has been completed.
Mr. Feickert was present at the meeting and G. CARL F;EICKERT
said his radiator shop has been closed by.the
Police Department and asked the aid of the
Commission in reopening it. He was- informed
that the Commission could do nothing as he
is operating without a business license and
without a variance They offered their help
in any way possible and referred Mr. Feickert
to the City Manager.
There being no further bus.ines>s to come before the Commission, the
meeting was adjourned to a special meeting to be called by the
Chairman for the.purpose of approving the Booker subdivision a s.
