A letter was read from the Sonoma County Planning
Comission requesting that a of the Petaluma
Planning Commission be appointed to meet with the
County Coalkisaion at ail meetings pertaining to the
Interim Zoning. Cowtissioner Bigelow stated that he
had been appointed as a I reprose ntative of the City
Council. Commissioner Talm-pates nominated Cormission-
or Forster w the Planning CoLhmisaion repreeentative,
The nomination was seconded by Commissioner Bigelow
and received the un-anintoua approval of the

The application of Dr. David �. Jones for extencionot

Mr. Baird read the application and supplement to the
application of Mr. & Mrs. 'Charles E. GiMiney for an
extension of their existing We Permit. Kr. Da-do,
attorney for the applicanto,� stated that they have
manufactured novelties Qaxdoalatice and ornenients)
at 211 FiM Street for theput 23 yeare and would like
Baia pen it allowing retail sales of s novelties.' Mr.
Seiler asked Mr. Gimmey if It had not been b1s intention
to move his place of business at the tim of socuring
his original Use Permit. Mr. Gimmey stated that he had
planned to do so but the deal E1 fell through". ICr. Gimnsey
added that he md his vAfe do all the work themselvea
with the exception of about four times a year when he
hires a man for a fey hours lie further added that most
of his business is handled telephone and when people
come to the .house it isusuilly between 10:00 a.m. and
4:00 P.M.. A neighbor of Mr. 0 1 irmey was present and
stated that he hand never been disturbed or annoyed by
the work carried on by Mr. & Mrs. ftimmey.
After considerable dismasion the Commisoidners re-
quested that this matter be hold in abeyance. (Commiss-
ioner Matson arrived at this time). Diacusoion on the
Ginmej matter reaumed and the permit was. granted. with
restrictions.

The next matter to be considered by the Commisaian wao
the 1954-$-5 Cownission Mgat. City Manager'Edward

budget. After a brief revieu and a fou minor changes,,
