_This being the time and place for the second' public
hearing on, the, 'Master Street and Highway Plan, for the
City "of Petaluma, Mr. Frank Fargo was . called upon to
again briefly outline the meaning of said plan,, follow' -:
ing which Chairman Dickerson- called for expressions
from 'the audience in ,f,avor and in opposition of adoption. .

Mr. Fargo explained that•the money for the improvements
of the streets will not come from taxation of the property
owners buto,from gas,.tax, monies.,, further: ,adding,. that the
idea is to have.ihe plan ready when such monies become
available.. As no other' expressions were heard, Res"olu'-
tion #16, adopting a Master Street and Highway Plan for
the QLty of :Petaluma, introduced by Cpmm ssioner Taylor
and seconded by Commissioner Elmore was unanimously
passed by all members present:.
This being,,the time and place set for public hearing,on
variance of Ken Colin requesting minimum set back line
of 16 be allowed,, rear yard minimum, of 15. be allowed
if building area necessitates and that Lots 5, 6 and 10
will have .less than minimum area required for said, lots
as shown on the tentative map, the matter was delayed
