HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 96-084 N.C.S. 04/01/1996 Resolution No. y6-84 N.C.S: of the City of Petaluma, California I RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STREET CLOSURE 2 FOR BUTTER AND EGGS DAY PARADE APRIL 27, 1996 a 6 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Main Street Association is sponsoring the annual Butter and 7 Eggs Days History Week from April 2l, to April 27, 1996, and the annual Antique Faire on s Apri128, 199,. 9 l0 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Main Street Association is also sponsoring the Butter and I I Eggs Day Parade on April 27th, and have coordinated the details of the parade with the Police I2 Department; 13 14 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Police Department is authorized to I6 close certain downtown streets between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April i ~ 27, 1996, and April 28, 1996, for the purpose of conducting a parade per the route identified on I8 theattached mapattached as Exhibit "A", and the annual Antique Faire. 19 20 21 22 23 Under the power-and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
