ROLL CALL. Present: Pommissibners. Ellis, Pbpp,, Stfthson, Tibbetts, and Dean. Absent: - Commissioners 7 Margolis and Parson8., City Officials- Mayor.Arthur W. Parent, City Attorney Ed6iiard,Robert and Planning Director. Richard Coleman. PHILIP L. JOERGER This, being the time and plate for the continuation of the diSCUS'SiOn of a rezoning to the Sonoma County Planhin Comm dated April. 16, 1959, from Philip L. joerger to rezone present "A." dist,ria to "C" or "Nf"distria, located between Old Redwood 'Highway, Denman Road,, and Haggin. Creek and Stony Point Road, in the Denman Flat area,, Chairman Dean, noted that, Mx:, jberger was present and called for the staff report. The Planning. Director stated that. this hadbeen referred, to this Commission for review. He presented, two sketches submitted by the applicant, outlining his. :r,e- zoning request, A letter received from the County—Planning, Commission advising the Commission that they ill hbldlwo public hea nJng-s­,on . May 21st and June 4th on Mr. joerger's rezonin request and requested recomm-endations, and comments on the,proposed rezoning, Was read and ftled, The staff report was then ,given by Mr. Coleman, a copy of was iiijbirdttedi and- filed, and the area in ques- tion outlined on thefilap, Chairman Dean called upon Mi. joerger -for `taxis Lpninlunt Mr. jQerger stated* he was not arguiijg.th on sewerage or f acilities, but that be has contacted insurance, . men and. prop ioters who, 'know a. little about dev elopm&nt and they -think it not premature in getting this rezoned'. The City Attoicney stated, that; he' doubted that thils could be made a condition to the rezoning, Mr. J. W. Balsley of the Standard Oil. Mr. John. Gibbs commented on, the poss'bllfty of rezoning a smaller area than the 100 acres at the present'time for the sake of the service station. ComrAissionet Stimson suggested that the Com ' on, might vote on cert policies relating to this rezoning iing, and similar cases., but the final action of the Commission was to wait until offer the first-County Planning Commission public hearing before they made.'any decision and, to forward this report to the County Planning Commission.
